This is my second jersey top for brightening my winter days. I have been in love with this Art Gallery fabric, ever since I first saw it called Serein Branchlet
I again used Vogue pattern V9057, but this time opted for view E. My husband and I spent a long time deliberately over whether the sleeves should be navy or grey, but in the end decided to go with the contrast of the grey. Again I used an interlock fabric from my stash to help keep the cost down.
I altered the pattern to narrow the shoulders as my last top seemed a little bit big but left the bust and waist the same though, as I was happy with how they fit.
I’m in love with this pattern and the Art Gallery fabrics so will be making more in the future for sure. The nice thing is that although they are the same pattern they look completely different each time with the different fabric choices. This is why I love dressmaking, the choices are endless.
