Another brightening top

Still embracing my winter brightening theme, this is the third of my jersey tops using Vogue pattern V9057, again using an Art Gallery fabric. This time I didn’t use an interlock out of my stash to join it, but instead opted for a gorgeous ochre jersey from Minerva fabrics.
These are not colours that I would normally wear but I’m so happy with the combination, I know I’m going to be wearing this a lot over the coming weeks.
I didn’t make any changes to the pattern this time and apart from a slight mishap initially sewing the collar on the wrong way round (MS brain strikes again!) the top went together beautifully. I used to initially get very upset when these sort of mistakes happened but over time l’ve come to realise that it’s just part and parcel of sewing with MS and I’m actually very lucky to still be able to get the chance to make these mistakes. Sewing is what makes me happy, mistakes are just an inevitable part of it.
